Philosophy
Our
school is a progressive, eclectic pre-school integrating different philosophies of early childhood learning. Projects
are created from the child's experiences and used as tools to expand their knowledge and social skills. We believe
that young children learn through play and informal learning experiences and are investigators, seeking knowledge through
a variety of sensory, cognitive and physical activities. Our professionally trained staff will assist your child in these
exploratory experiences through age appropriate activities. We believe that art in all its forms is an essential part
of the learning experience and we offer an informal small studio approach incorporating it into our curriculum. TecLC
staff will focus on your child's individual strengths and interests while supporting social and emotional learning. This includes
developing positive self identity, feeling empathy for others and an excitement for learning and creative experiences.
Emphasis is placed on mastering the foundations of learning helping each child to prepare for the next level of learning in
our competitive and ever changing world. We encourage parents to be our partners in the learning process and our door
is always open for ideas and suggestions.
